Abstract

Based on the advancement of medical engineering technology, ultrasonography has been used increasingly for the visualization and intervention of axial structures. Especially in the cervical spine, there is a paradigm shift by an ultrasound-guided intervention. Several ultrasound-guided interventions have been introduced; medial nerve branch blocks or facet block, selective nerve root block, stellate ganglion block, caudal block and sacro-iliac joint injection.
